Seriously, why have I been so late in picking up on this trend with couponing?! Over the last few weeks I’ve been saving about an average of $20 on every big shop I do during the week. I know that doesn’t sound a great deal but when you start adding it up over the month and then again for the year I’m probably saving about 2 weeks of my shopping budget every year and since the shopping money savings don’t go back to hubby they become mine! Don’t get me wrong I’m not going to turn into one of those extreme couponing people you see in documentaries after watershed with their house filled to the brim with toilet roll and toothpaste but I can see the sense in this now and why people are doing it. I get the majority of my coupons online and share the various websites and links on special offers with my friends that have now also taken it up. It is becoming a bit of a challenge between us on who can save the most on their weekly shop all of us Facebooking what we saved and the winner having to upload a picture of their receipt! I haven’t won it yet, but I’m going to start looking upon this as a hobby.

I love that I’ve just gone on to Amazon to find some new cases for my iPhone. They are only a fraction of the price sold for in the shops and stores near me! I like dressing my iPhone to match what I’m wearing for the day, some people do that with their kids or the dogs but for me it’s my iPhone that I love having co-ordinated with me in some way. There’s just so much choice on there from designer brands down to cute and kitsch little cases made by smaller businesses. Pages and pages to choose from, it’s like phone case heaven. I have now ordered a selection pack of varying colours as well as a few patterned ones, and a couple with sparkley stones attached as well. It’s a real talking point in the office with my friends guessing what one I’m going to come in with next! I’ve also started to see a few others of my co-workers “dressing” their iPhones up too. Oooh I also picked up some of the more Christmassy colours and designs as well. It’s great that something for protecting your phone can be turned into such a nifty little fashion accessory.

Having never own an Apple product before I couldn’t see what the big draw to people was when we had perfectly functioning Window computers and laptop, now I’ve made the cross over I can tell you the difference!
- A much longer battery life. It comes straight out of the box ready to go with about 5 and a half hours of life already in it.
- It has an environmentally friendly LED display. Seriously!
- The display has a sensor that adjusts to the lighting around you
- It displays in a higher resolution then other laptops
- There is little to no set up preparation needed after you open the box
- As soon as you’ve registered your account with Apple you have access to iTunes, also there’s no free trial software spamming your screen either
- The keyboard is backlit. When it gets dark the backlights come on automatically.
- You don’t have to buy anything extra all you need is in the box ready to go!
All in all I’m incredibly please with my purchase and am glad I have decide to give Apple a go, I can’t see me going back to Windows now, ever.

I’m absolutely smitten with my iPhone! I bought it as a replacement for my iPod really and having a mobile phone thrown in with it was just an added bonus. I can download apps for free that I normally use on my computer like Skype and go on the web browser and watch all my favourite shows if I miss any of them, this little gadget is amazing. When I flew over to Boston a few months ago I downloaded a game called Monkey and spent my entire time playing it to keep me amused. I guess it’s just like a little version of an iPad except that I can put it in my car and use it as a Sat Nav too lol. There seriously is an app for everything, even down to an exercise one that counts my steps throughout the day so I can include it in my fitness plan on my never ending goal to lose weight. It’s such a zippy little thing, it almost know what I want it to do before I press the screen sometimes. The wifi was easy to set up and I have a solid connection all the time. It’s slim but still a satisfying weight to hold in your hand too. Basically I just love my iPhone and can’t find enough praise for it!

I had toyed for ages over the idea of having a Macbook but I’ve been so use to my old laptop I had started to see its problems and flaws as sort of quirks in its personality. I had looked at oodles of other similar brands before eventually biting the bullet and getting what it was an ultimately wanted from the moment I had started thinking about them. I’m super pleased I did as it really is like no other computer I’ve used before! It worked start from the box! It’s also less complicated to use then I initially thought it would, especially with my being a Mac virgin. It connects to the internet in under a minute from switching it on and logging in, which compared to my old computer, really is something of a novelty. To be honest it’s the best thing since the microchip! I’ve transferred all my files over including my ITunes library and it was no big deal for even for a non techy like me. I would definitely recommend a Macbook to any one looking for a new computer. I’m that impressed I’m also thinking about do the change over with my desktop PC too shortly.

I bought one of those Nintendo Wii Fit bundles a few weeks ago to try conquering the marsupial like pouch that has stuck since having a baby. I’ve been religiously working out on it and indeed everything is starting to flatten out for the first time in ages and I can feel my body going back to my pre prego shape. Anyways, I came home early from work last night, to find hubby stood on the balance board doing the imaginary hula hooping for toning tummy muscles. I near dropped the shopping. I didn’t want the moment to end! I stood there with my hand over my mouth watching him gyrate with him imaginary hula hoop and I thought I was going to have a laughing fit. I made a noise like clearing my throat to indicate I was in the room and hubby just sort of paused, stepped off the board and said “I was just interested in trying it all out to see how it worked”. His interest had lead him all the way to our bedroom to put on his workout clothes and a pair of sneakers set up his own profile which he’d modified to look like his cartoon double! It still amazes me that after being together for the last 10 years I still find him and his ways so funny! If you want to bring this little bit of fun into your life too, check out one of the great discounts to be found by buying this console online.

I’ve just got back from the most epic shopping trip at Bloomingdales ever with one of my friends. For my birthday I was given a $450 Bloomingdale gift card from my mom and step dad. Well the gift card is no more. I have spent the lot! I’ve picked out a whole new wardrobe for my nights out with the girls as we’ve got a trip to Vegas coming up soon and I don’t what to be underdressed. Luckily there was a great sale on when I went in and I bargain hunted like a pro. I’ve decided that vintage is the new thing for me. Well sexy vintage that is! I love the pin up girl look and I know that I’m going to be able to carry it off, though I did put the burlesque style pants down! The best thing is I can mix and match all of what I’ve bought with stuff already in my wardrobe for that smart casual sort of look when I get home as well I can glam up or glam down depending on the mood. It’s all now hanging in my closet waiting for me to pull my suitcase out and get my bags packed!
